Hello everybody! (I did that in Matt Bellassai's voice)
I have to be completely honest, I definitely do not feel like we are leaving for Ecuador tomorrow. I have packed almost everything. Tomorrow I will be throwing my daily stuff into the bags as I go. My cats feel the need to sit on everything I plan on taking, suitcases, bags, clothing.. EVERYTHING. Which reminds me, I need to take my lint roller........
Admitting a fault - I prefer not to deal with logistics and planning, haha. #FreeSpirit Luckily, I don't have to. The only thing I need to concern myself with at this point is getting to the airport!! Gotta love my mom for that one - Thank you Mom!
Tomorrow will be lots of traveling, I think it'll be around 12 hours all together. I feel like it's going to be a whirlwind of activity! Getting luggage, going through customs.. getting on the bus for Extreme Response (where we are staying). We are going to hit the ground running!
I cannot imagine better people to do this with - Patty and Lindsay are just so amazing to me. They will keep me grounded, haha. The other folks are awesome too and I can't wait to get to know them better.
#Ecuador
Hasta!

The church I belong to, Momentum Christian Church has a very close relationship with RiverTree Christian Church. RiverTree Christian Church has partnered with a school in Ecuador, Nuevos Amigos, and I was invited to be a part of a team that will be going to Ecuador in November to serve the school and community. I will have the opportunity to see the two children I sponsor as well. I will use this blog to keep everyone, including myself, updated and record everything.

THREE DAYS!!
I cannot even believe we are leaving for Ecuador in less than three days! I am super super super excited.
Thank you all so much who have donated to this mission trip. Thank you for all the prayers for this trip and people. Thank you for asking me any sort of questions. I love sharing this journey.
Our basic itinerary is as follows:
Get to Quito Saturday night and go directly to Extreme Response.
Sunday we are going to church (Lindsay will be playing the piano!).
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday will be the lesson we are teaching at the school and the kid's school pictures.
Thursday I get to spend the entire day with Jeremy and Jean Pierre. I am so so so excited to see them.
Friday we will be hiking somewhere and possibly doing some souvenir shopping. Then our flight is that night!
I will try and post as much as I can here so stay tuned.
